Pointed Pen Hearts and Florals:

The pointed pen is not just for writing beautiful Copperplate and Spencerian script. The pressure-and-release technique of this writing tool is perfect for creating any number of delightfully flourished forms to reflect a given season or celebration. This one-day mini workshop will focus on hearts and florals.

The class is open to all levels; indeed, beginners are especially encouraged to sign up. What better way to practice the basic strokes of the pointed pen than by creating eye-catching designs? This will not be a lettering class per se. However, tips for incorporating lettering into your designs will be discussed.

Level: This class is appropriate for adult students at all levels.

Cost: $150 tuition + $10 materials fee (covers a nib, a straight nib holder, several ink samples, and paper, all of which students can take home).
