Book Folding

THIS WORKSHOP WILL MEET IN-PERSON AT THE AUSTIN BOOK ARTS CENTER.

Learn the art of turning everyday books into captivating works of art. Students will learn to make a simple MMF (Measure, Mark, Fold) Texas shape and a combination style heart OR an advanced ship at sea. Astonishingly simple, all one needs is patience and items that one might already have around the house.

Registered students should be prepared to bring two hardcover books with at least 320 pages (160 sheets) around 23cm tall.

Level: This class is appropriate for adult students at all levels.
