Rock ‘N Roll Record Album Re-Do

THIS WORKSHOP WILL MEET IN-PERSON AT THE AUSTIN BOOK ARTS CENTER.

Austin is billed as “The Live Music Capital of the World” so it’s a great time to show off your “band loyalty” with these up-tempo book-lover projects.

Honor your favorite bands, present or past, with a Fab Four collection of custom book arts projects you’ll make from the record album covers of your choosing.

This unique collection includes:

  • A two-part box with lid that uses both sides of a 12” chipboard album cover to create stylish storage for your smaller music media.
  • An album accordion-fold book with two record sleeve pockets, perfect for snapshots of the band.
  • A stitched, 3-signature write and sketch journal with blank pages and two built-in pockets for your playlists, concert notes, and song lyrics.
  • File folders from whole LP covers that will brighten your workday.

Bring 4-8 cardboard record album covers (12”) to personalize your projects or choose from our salvaged, vintage selection.  The vinyl records themselves are not needed but you may want to bring some of the inner sleeves if they have cool graphics on them.
