ExpiredBookbinding for Elementary School Teachers

DSCF1279This six hour workshop is designed for teachers with students between the ages of seven and twelve. Learn to create classroom-tested and kid-approved book structures that are quick, simple and mess-free, along with guidance on how to introduce them to your students. We will explore accordion and one page structures, along with simple pop up techniques. At the end of the class, you will have a variety of structures and resources for including book arts in your classroom. No experience necessary.

Linda Anderson is a retired art teacher and educator. She also has worked as a book conservator and bookbinder. Since 1992, she has led book-arts classes for children at libraries and Book-Arts fairs throughout Austin. Her art and book art has been exhibited in Texas and Utah.
