Inkjet Printer Image Transfer:
In this 3-hr class, students will learn how to print a digital image using an inkjet printer, and then transfer the image to watercolor paper using an alcohol-based gel medium (purell hand sanitizer). The class will explore what types of images work with this process, which is very similar to a polaroid transfer.
Level: This class is appropriate for students at all levels.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Anthony Maddaloni teaches Black-and-White Darkroom courses through the Informal Classes program at the University of Texas in Austin. He received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from State University of New York (SUNY) at Purchase in 1996. He was a staff photographer for both the Texas Senate and House of Representatives during various sessions from 2001-2006. He was also a staff photographer at UT’s Harry Ransom Center from 2006-2010. His work is in private collections and he has had showing of his photographs in and around Austin since 2001. His photographs have been published in The New York Times as well as the Austin American statesmen and Shots Magazine. Both a teacher and a working photographer, he teaches workshops in alternative process, portfolio building, and black and white darkroom private lessons.
