Modern Pointed Pen:

In addition to beautiful lettering, the pointed pen lends itself to amazing flourished designs and art. An added bonus is that these are far easier to learn — and even master — in a short amount of time. This one-day class will begin with learning the basic pressure-and-release technique that is the hallmark of writing with the pointed nib. We will then practice all kinds of decorative lines, curves, and ovals, finally combining them into graceful cartouches and even holiday compositions. All tools, ink, and paper supplied. Just bring your enthusiasm.

Level: This class is appropriate for adult students at all levels.
