Edition Your Prints on the Vandercook

THIS WORKSHOP WILL MEET IN-PERSON AT THE AUSTIN BOOK ARTS CENTER.

Learn the basics of printing and editioning your woodcuts, linocuts, and/or woodtype on the Vandercook proof press. The instructor will cover proper inking, adjusting packing, adjusting rollers and the operating the press to edition your carved block. Color registration will be covered, but students will edition only in one color during the workshop. Completion of this class will qualify students to use the Vandercook presses during Open Studio times. Students will bring their own paper and blocks that are already carved.

This workshop does not cover carving blocks.

Level: This class is appropriate for adult students at all levels.
