ExpiredMASTER CLASS: Printing P22 Blox With Richard Kegler

Explore “P22 Blox”, a modular letterpress printing block system which uses only 8 basic shapes to create poster lettering and pattern designs. Using the P22 Blox sorts, participants will explore typographic design possibilities with limited shapes and a consistent grid on ABAC’s flatbed cylinder presses. Through experimentation, participants will learn some basics of letterpress printing and problem-solving given strict limitations of material. Kegler will guide participants in design exercises towards producing collaborative prints with assembled typographic forms.
